Cosmos - a cosmological argument
The cosmological argument - why cause and effect requires God
Jonathon Durno

Cosmological Argument
Premise 1: Everything that begins to exist has a cause.
Premise 2: The universe began to exist.
Conclusion: Therefore, the universe has a cause, which must be God.
Argument from Motion
Everything that is in motion is put in motion by something else.
There cannot be an infinite regress of movers.
Conclusion: There must be a singular unmoved mover.
