Logic is not arbitrary

The existence of the laws of logic and their applicability in real life as consequences of the Logos

  • Premise 1: The laws of logic are unchanging, universal, and immaterial.
They are constant, apply everywhere, and are not physical.

  • Premise 2: Such laws require an unchanging, universal, immaterial mind to exist.
Logical laws need a mind with these same properties to exist.

  • Premise 3: The God of the Bible is described as unchanging, universal, and immaterial.
The Bible presents God with these exact attributes.

  • Premise 4: No other worldview adequately explains the existence of the laws of logic.
Other beliefs do not account for the nature of logical laws.

  • Conclusion: Therefore, belief in the laws of logic implies belief in the God of the Bible.
Only the God of the Bible can logically ground these laws.
